Today in almost in all life areas artificial intelligence-based applications are very effective and popular. Recently art became one of them. As many artists and art enthusiasts reacted negatively to this involvement also many responded positively. In this work, while mentioning examples of collaborations between human artists like Refik Anadol and artificial intelligence-based applications as allegedly independent artist machines like Ai-DA, Sophia we will study the features, mode of operation and the innovations brought to art by “prompt to image by ai” applications like Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion. We will also go through the reactions given by artists, experts and viewers to these applications. Finally we will discuss the common traits between the reactions given to artificial intelligence based art applications and art innovations like photography, modern art, Dada and conceptual art through the art history.
