miniature gardens that allow us to breathe a little in our lives in concrete cities, people have sought pots made of different materials in various colors and sizes. Today, in addition to different materials such as wood, metal, concrete, pots made of materials such as porcelain, ceramics, terracotta and wicker have also started to attract attention. However, it is very difficult for those who want to design miniature gardens to find pots according to the plant they want to grow and their taste. Although there are few new and alternative pot types, there are almost no written sources in the literature on pot designs. For this reason, in this study, in order to create a resource for designers and artists, it was aimed to investigate how pots emerged in the historical process. In line with this information, it was desired to design modern pots that are nature-friendly, provide the vital cycle of plants, meet their functional needs and provide aesthetic experience while providing all these with today's modern art understanding.
