ABSTRACT
Glancing through the historical period of the Turk communities, which has rich experiences and color full culture, we can observe different types of facts. There are some traces of Turkic life style in our social life. Especially, there are lots of scien tihic researches on old belief’s structure. But there isn’t certain decision about Shamanism, either it is the religion or historical cultural heritage.
This work focused on different opinions related to Shamanism and taboos. There is an attempt to explain remains of Shamanism in our days, changes which has undergone in the mast practiced Islamic religion with the help of descriptive methodology.
